QCC has expanded its global company data coverage with the launch of Jersey Basic Reports. Compliance teams can now access structured company information for Jersey entities through QCC, including registration status, incorporation details, share capital, shareholders, key persons and disclosed cross-border investments.
The new report consolidates available Jersey company information into a standardized format designed to support KYC/KYB verification, counterparty verification, vendor due diligence and cross-border risk assessment.
This announcement outlines the new Jersey Basic Report, the information it contains and how it can support a cross-border compliance workflow.
The Jersey Basic Report provides a structured snapshot of a Jersey company's registration profile, capital structure, disclosed ownership, management and selected investment relationships.
Rather than reviewing different company records separately, compliance teams can use the report to examine core entity and ownership information within a single standardized document. QCC's broader KYC Reports offering provides structured due diligence reports across multiple jurisdictions.
Each Jersey Basic Report also includes a unique QCC Code and a document verification function, allowing users to check whether an eligible document was issued by QCC.
Where available, identifiers such as a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) may also be displayed alongside the company profile.
Registration Information. Review the company's registration number, current status, local status, legal form, local legal form, incorporation date, place of incorporation, registered address and available business activity information.
Share Capital. Examine disclosed share classes, number of shares, currency, authorised capital amount and par value per share.
Shareholder Information. Identify disclosed shareholders together with share class, number of shares, registration or identification number, identification type and address.
Key Persons. Review disclosed directors and other key personnel, including available information such as position, occupation, date of birth and address.
Global Investments. Where available, the report identifies investments associated with the Jersey entity in companies in other jurisdictions. Available fields may include investee company name, registration number, status, incorporation date, number of shares, contribution amounts, shareholding percentage and latest disclosure date.
Additional Information. Available corporate filing information may include the company's latest annual confirmation statement date.
The available fields may vary depending on the information disclosed for the individual company.
The report identifies the company as an active Jersey registered company and provides its registration profile, registered address, share capital and shareholder information.
It also identifies disclosed directors and other key persons and includes available cross-border investment records involving companies outside Jersey.
This illustrates how a Jersey entity may sit within a wider international corporate structure, making standardized company and ownership information useful for cross-border due diligence.
Company status should be verified before onboarding.
A matching company name alone does not establish the current legal status of an entity. Registration number, incorporation details, legal form and registered address provide additional identifiers that can be compared against information submitted by the customer or counterparty.
Ownership can extend across jurisdictions.
Jersey companies may have corporate shareholders incorporated elsewhere. Structured shareholder information allows compliance teams to identify connected entities before performing further ownership, UBO or sanctions checks.
Management information supports entity-level due diligence.
Director and key person information helps analysts identify individuals connected to the company and determine whether additional screening or verification is required.
Cross-border investments can reveal additional corporate relationships.
Where disclosed, the Global Investments section may connect a Jersey company with overseas investee companies, helping analysts understand a broader corporate footprint beyond the immediate Jersey entity.
Capital information provides additional corporate context.
Share class, number of shares and authorised capital information can provide useful context when reviewing ownership records and corporate structures.
Standardized reports improve consistency across jurisdictions.
Using a consistent report structure across Jersey and other jurisdictions allows regional compliance teams to apply a more standardized review process rather than interpreting different company information formats separately.
Verify the legal entity.
Start with the registration number, status, legal form, incorporation date and registered address to confirm that the submitted company information corresponds to the identified Jersey entity.
Review the capital structure.
Examine available share capital information and compare it with shareholder records where relevant.
Establish ownership and management.
Review disclosed shareholders, directors and key persons to identify the companies and individuals connected to the entity.
Examine cross-border relationships.
Use shareholder jurisdictions and available Global Investments information to determine whether additional overseas entities should be included in the review.
Screen relevant parties.
Screen identified companies, shareholders and directors through QCC AML Screening for sanctions, watchlists, PEP and other available risk signals.
Continue the review after onboarding.
For relationships requiring ongoing oversight, compliance teams can use QCC Ongoing Monitor, subject to applicable jurisdiction and data coverage, to track relevant corporate and risk changes.
For organizations integrating verification directly into existing onboarding systems, QCC also provides an eKYC/KYB Onboarding API for API-based verification workflows.
The report may include registration information, share capital, shareholders, key persons, global investments and additional corporate filing information.
The sample Jersey Basic Report identifies Jersey Business Registration Provider as its data source.
Yes. Where shareholder information is available, the report may provide shareholder names, share classes, numbers of shares, registration or identification numbers, identification types and addresses.
Where available, the Key Persons section identifies disclosed directors and other key personnel together with information such as position, occupation, date of birth and address.
Where relevant information is available, the Global Investments section may identify overseas investee companies together with registration details, company status, shareholding percentages and other available investment information.
Where available, the report can show share classes, number of shares, currency, authorised capital amount and par value per share.
The report can support entity verification, ownership review, counterparty due diligence and risk assessment. It should be used alongside an organization's own risk-based procedures, screening requirements and supporting documentation.
The launch of Jersey Basic Reports gives compliance teams a more consistent way to verify Jersey entities and review their registration profile, ownership, management, capital structure and disclosed cross-border relationships within the QCC platform.
